Who we are

 
The Peoples Mission provides direct and indirect support for the homeless and those in need. We directly offer clothing, food and personal product packages. We support organisations that assist the homeless. We do this by providing clothes and related products as well as logistical assistance to other homeless charities. We make a difference in the lives of people during a very traumatic time in their life.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

 

  • Your name, address and details.
  • for donors, details relating to your donation
  • for others, other information relevant to the purpose of providing homeless services including survey and questionnaire responses.

We collect only information about you that is reasonably necessary for our events or activities. On the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

  •  to provide homeless services
  • to operate fundraising and charitable events in support of our objective
  • to provide customer service function, including handling customer enquiries, complaints and feedback
  • to facilitate proper governance processes such as risk management, incident management, internal audit and external audits.
  • to gather feedback from you and other individuals about the quality of service that we provide so that the services we provide can be continuously improved
  • to satisfy a legal obligation, comply with applicable laws and meet the requirements of bodies which regulate the service we provide.

 

Disclosure to Third Parties

 

We will not disclose your personal information to other external organisations except

  • as required by law
  • as required by funding agreements
  • where we have your consent to do so through your acceptance of this Policy and the disclosure relates to the goods or services we provide to you
  • for a purpose permitted by this Policy
  • (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.
